Feel so blessed

It's been two months since I took my oath as a licensed broker and I feel so blessed to have closed a sale! Oh yes, the first sale as a Licensed Real Estate Broker. The past sales I had is under the wings of a developer and I acted as a salesperson not a broker. The Lord has given me good connections that refer me to the right client. I hope this will be followed by another one soon. Crossing my fingers.

For now, I am fulfilling all the requirements to book my sale while doing my work as the Administrative Manager of our Construction and Design Firm. I love my life! I know that the Lord will not forsake me because hubby and I work hard for the future of my family. As I keep telling my kids, the future is NOW. If you don't work now, you won't have anything to reap in the coming days. So work, work, work! And don't forget to enjoy life... travel if you must, buy padron cigars to celebrate, party, meet new people-- all in moderation. Life is so short so make the most out of it.

Attendance Monitoring

I remember the first job I had as a Human Resource practitioner was to do attendance monitoring. Back then, it was quite an arduous task since I have to check and validate time cards manually. Oh, I always dread the day when I had to gather all those time cards so our payroll can compute for their salary including tardiness, over time and absences. Whew! Those were the days. Today, we already systems to help us generate these reports. Employees just have to log in using biometrics or log in via their ID's and the system will generate their ins and outs. How I wish we had those during those times?

Today, biometrics are not only used for attendance monitoring but a lot others. For instance, Your voice unlocks the door of your house, or an iris scan even safety vaults are equipped with biometrics. There are fingerprint safe vaults for your cash and other valuables. That's technology working for you.

On the other hand, my small office -- with less than 10 people still uses manual encoding since it's still manageable. Soon, when we become BIG enough. I might use these technology to my advantage.
