PHOTO HUNT : Protection

It's Photohunt day, and today the theme is protection. Really perfect for the summer since there are a lot of outdoor activities for the kids and it's only proper that we wear protection in doing these activities.

Yesterday, we embarked on a very exhilarating adventure. After a swim at the beach, we tried the Subic Treetop Adventure. I though the kids will chicken out but to my surprise they were so eager to do it.

Here are the picture of the kids trying out the tree drop or tree rappel. Complete with all the necessary safety gears for protection: the hard hat, harness and gloves. Off she goes .....

Nicole rappeling down

Of course my 10-year old son also took the challenge. As a mom, I was so apprehensive at first. But seeing how the people were so skilled and very friendly to assist you plus all the safety precautions, I agreed. How can you say no to a persistent and charming boy? He even begged to get my slot, so he can go twice. Brave boy, isn't he? I am so proud!

Lance at the Rappel

The rappel is not the only activity we ventured in during exciting escapade at the
Treetop Adventure in Subic. I shall be posting more of our adventures soon, after I have sorted out all the photos I have taken.

Oh that is scary but when I was in college I join the rescue team and we have a training of survival. I am the first lady that jump the slide for life. The next lady who jump almost died because she was scared and lost her grip to the rope that's why she fall to the ground and almost hit the rock. we brought her in the nearest hospital and luckily she was alive. hehhe long story. Thanks for the visit of my entry.
