Thunderbird Resort Poropoint - An Amazing Summer Destination

Our weekend was spent at Thunderbird Resort - Poro Point in San Fernando City, La Union, north of Luzon. It was our treat for the kids, especially for my dear daughter who graduated two weeks ago.

Thunderbird Resort - Poro Point is a Mediterranean-inspired hotel, which is one of the two resorts of Thunderbird here in the Philippines. It sits on a 65 hectares of prime property which boasts of world class amenities : swimming pool, white sand beach, a nine-hole golf course, and its own Fiesta Casino.

Each of their rooms have a breath taking view of the ocean, which I really love. I could not stop taking pictures of the place. Below are some of the pictures I have taken. Having been in the city, the scenic seaside landscape was definitely a welcome sight.

Thunderbird Resort - Poro Point is a lengthy 6 to 7 hour drive from Manila. It was quite a ride, but it was definitely worth the trip. My kids really had a blast.

If you want an amazing destination this summer, Thunderbird Resort is definitely a place to consider. For inquiries, you may visit their website or email them at pororeservations@thunderbird-asia.com

The long drive sure is worth it. This one is nicer than their resort in Rizal.

OH MY! The place is really nice, and your photos are really nice! If you didn't mention it's taken by you, I would thought it's from the site itself. The place is so beautiful and even people like you and me can get great photos there. Cool!

WOW! Thanks for sharing the pictures!

Poro is only an hour away from Baguio, very accessible. But the resort is a bit pricey.
