Tree Top Adventure in Subic : An Exhilarating Adventure

It was last Friday when I conquered my fear of heights as I tried on the Canopy Lift Ride at Tree Top Adventure in Subic. This is where you ride the Canopy Chair Lifts from one tree to another. It took us about one and a half hours to finish the whole route with 12 stations. The highest point was the Apitong Tree, which is at 100 feet above ground. Of course, I took my camera with me to help overcome my fear. This photo below was taken when I was 75 feet above ground.

View from 75feet above

The ride will send shivers to the weak-hearted like me. As I embark for the first time on the chair, I felt my stomach going up to my throat but after the first station, my fear slowly dissolved as I set my eyes on the breathtaking view of the forest from above. The birds chirping and the trees gently swaying with the cool wind breeze makes you feel so relaxed and refreshed. The people who assisted us in disembarking are so trained to take pictures that's why I was so lucky to have a photo from above. Here are some pictures of me, my son and his cousin during our Canopy Lift Ride.

Another one of the activities is the Tree Drop wherein you will rappel down the tree.I n my recent post, I have included some pictures of my kids as they embarked on this very liberating activity. Here are more pictures of the kids and the gang.

The guide said if you have finished the Canopy Lift ride and rappelled down the side of a 60-foot tree, you will clamor for more adventure, and that is the Superman Ride! With this ride, you can fly like Superman soaring 100 feet above ground through a cable suspension system.

Ah! this is what I'd call fun. The best alternative, or the closest thrill I could get to bungee jumping that I have found so far; to me at least. I will wait til my son is bigger and see if he'd like to do this with me :) He survived the mummies in the AIDS Temple. This should be way better and easier to do. Thanks for the info.

Those are fantastic shots. Looks like so much fun to me. I would have done it in a heartbeat when I was a little younger. I'm not in good enough shape for that kind of adventure now.
