A Daughter's Mother's Day Letter

Mother's Day is the day we celebrate the greatness of our mothers. Our mothers who have nurtured us as we grow into the persons we are now. For me no person has influenced me more significantly than my mother. No words, no material things would even come close to articulate the importance of my mom in my life.

Dear Mommy,

It is not only today that I celebrate your motherhood but every single day.

Your strength has been so remarkable that it inspires me to be a better person each and everyday. Your kindness is so heartfelt that even the most ruthless person would feel shame. Your smile is so contagious that even on my most trying times you delight my heart. Your patience is all-encompassing even the angels can acclaim to it. Your love is the greatest love anyone can ever experience.

I am what I am now because of all the devotion you have shown. Now that I am a mother, I thank you for the guidance, for always being there for me.

In return, I want to be there for always and forever. Through good times and bad, you know that I am there.

May the good Lord continue to bless you with good health and many many more wonderful years to come. I Love You, Mom! Happy Mother's Day!
