Photohunt : Utensils

For this week's Photohunt theme, I am featuring one of the wedding presents that my BIL received during their wedding last month.

For some reason, a set of utensil is always part of the wedding gifts that a newly wed couple receives on their wedding day. I remember we also received a set when we got married. Is it part of the tradition? or does it symbolize anything?

Have a great weekend everyone!

For some reason all I could think of was knives and forks when the word utensil popped into my head.

Happy weekend to you.

Utensils are just traditional gift. At times, I think, it is better to place reliance over traditional gifts when you just might be confused about selection of a proper gift.
I do not think such gifts carry any symbolic meaning.
