A yellow ribbon for Tita Cory!

I am doing this post inside the hospital as I accompany my mom for four days now. She needed to be admitted for a minor procedure on her urinary tract. She's recuperating well and just needs a little rest. Thank you for all the support and prayers for my mom. I believe in the power of prayers, that's why I know how little as it may seem, this blog post will matter.

As I watch the news everday, I can see the outpouring of love and support for the Aquino family as the former president battles for her life in her fight against cancer. She has been part of history and as I hear one of her grandsons say, "She and God have a very special relationship..." and that they are still hoping that one day she will be better. Yes, that would be asking for a miracle. Why not? Everyday, I can hear people offering masses for her. Everywhere I go, I can see yellow ribbons tied around establishments, private cars and even public utility vehicles. For the last couple of days, our family has included her in our daily bedtime prayer and I know one way or the other our prayers will be answered.

Now, in my own little way, in my own little voice, I am doing my share in spreading the word, this is a gesture of love and concern -- That the Lord may truly grant out prayers, what ever the outcome maybe, Thy will be done upon Cory Aquino, Amen!
