Birthdays are always special, whether I receive a gift or not, it's still remains the same. But of course, if you are given a gift then who are you to turn down a "manna from heave." :-)
This year, for my birthday, hubs decided to take me to Singapore.
So far, this tops all the birthday gifts I have received.
Of course, I am hoping that one of these days Hubs will once again surpass this gift of his...who knows?
