Time to do your chores...

mommy moments

In our country where every household has a househelp, it's easy to fall into the trap of passing all the household chores to the help. But I don't let that happen.

Although I grew up with househelp at home, I was able to learn how to cook, do the laundry, wash the dishes and iron clothes. Being the eldest girl among my siblings, I always take charge of making sure that there is food and schedule the laundry for our labandera during the weekends. These competencies, if you may call it, have helped me run my own household now. That is what I want to teach my kids, most especially, my daughter.

My daughter doing the dishes and cooking

While my son, being the bunso (youngest), fixes his own things for school.

Although he does help out in a lot of things too like setting the table, he can also wash the dishes and fix his own bed.

The two of them also loves to help me out when I cook and that's one of the bonding moments we enjoy the most.

Join us for Mommy Moments and get to share this lovely moments with fellow moms. Happy weekend!

Hi Mommy! That's exactly what my son does too. LSGH pala sila pareho. :) Pag babae ang anak tinuturo talaga lahat right? In preparation pag turn naman nila.

I'd love to join your meme! I'll start this Monday :) Thanks for inviting me.

that is so true, my Mom thought me at the very young age to do little chores...sabi pa nga niya eh pag di daw ako natuto nakakahiya sa mga biyenan ko.

My parents made me learn housework too even though we had maids. Now I’m planning to do the same thing to my sons, one step at a time.

You're raising two great kids here :)

Ang babait ng mga kis mo,Sassy mom.I bet they are like that not only bec you taught them how to but because of your living example to them, especially taking care of them full time eventhough you can afford to have a sitter for them.
