It was about May of last year that I took my physical health seriously and enrolled myself in a gym. I find it very rewarding since not only did I lose weight but I felt great. Thanks to my personal trainer who was so patient enough to push me. However, I developed a knee problem which up to now still brings discomfort. My knee pain was a result of trauma – resulting from over use and I guess poor as I run using the treadmill.
Although there are many factors that can cause knee injury, mine was really a result of excessive use. I guess I am not cut-out to run--- now I know that for a fact.
According to my trainer, I can still continue going to the gym but I need to avoid using the treadmill and equipment that are weight bearing. I can opt to use the ellipticals which can still give me a total body work out without putting a lot of stress on my joints. Elliptical trainer is a machine that is best suited for older people who need to limit the impact on their knee joints. Although I am unwilling to admit it, I now belong to that category even though I am still in my 30’s.

Elliptical pala tawag dun.. we've been searching for a nice one that's on sale too bec hubby doesn't like the treadmill. Is it too late to drink milk? :) I wish you well, Mommy! :)
